Hello! I am Lalita Saripalle, a Melbourne-based artist and designer who currently finds absolute joy in creating vivid digital abstract paintings. With an educational background in graphic design, I bring together my love for abstract expressionism, colours, bold shapes and mark-making techniques in these paintings.

I have been a visual thinker, a creative, a painter for as long as I can remember. My work originates from a deep passion for abstract art and its universality. Playing with the fluidity of paints and inks and then introducing graphic elements on a digital canvas, I constantly aspire to explore new possibilities of bringing multiple mediums together in creating a piece that speaks to the viewer

Inspired by nature and music, my work explores the interplay of colours and textures through which the forms and shapes arise, resembling beautiful landscapes and formations seen in the natural world and at times transcending to capture the essence of our inner-worlds too. A strong believer of the healing power of art, my work is a reflection of my own journey, my relentless yearning for self-discovery through creative expression.
